Our Ministries

Sundays

Bible Study/Men's Sharing Time:  Our early service, starting at 9:30am on Sunday mornings begins with a brief Bible Study, a Scripture memory time, followed by a time for the men of the fellowship to share what the Lord has placed on their heart. This time of 'every joint supplying' is a blessed time of sharing, worship and learning from God's Word.

Morning Worship Service: Our Sunday worship service begins at 10:45am.  It is a time of traditional worship (including music), and Systematic Scriptural teaching.

Young Adult Bible Study: A young adult Bible study is held for those of high school, college, and career ages. These studies are generally led by one or more of the young adults in attendance at Grace Bible Chapel. Please see the Church Calendar for dates, times and locations.

---------------------------------------------------

Wednesday Night Prayer: On the first and third Wednesday nights of each month, we meet for a time of corporate and personal prayer.

---------------------------------------------------

Nursery/Toddler's Ministries: We offer a nursery for young children. We also offer a Toddler's Ministry which is for children between the ages of 3 years and 5 years old, to introduce the Bible in an age-appropriate manner. Toddler's Ministry is offered from 10:45am to 12:15pm, immediately following the early service.

---------------------------------------------------

1st through 6th grade Bible Study: A verse by verse study of books of the Bible, appropriate for 1st through 6th grade children. We also memorize scripture, learn the Books of the Bible, and apply what we learn to everyday life. The goal is to honor Christ in all that we do.

---------------------------------------------------

Simeon Fellowship: The Simeon Fellowship is a special ministry for those aged 50 years and older to meet and fellowship, and to encourage one another. Simeon Fellowship meetings are generally held in one of the member's homes, around a meal, a message, and warm fellowship.

---------------------------------------------------

Fellowship Lunches: Occasionally throughout the year, Grace Bible Chapel shares a "Fellowship Luncheon" after the morning service. It is a time for members of the fellowship to eat together as a family, sharing fun and fellowship. See the Church Calendar for times when the fellowship lunches will be held.

What should you expect from worshiping at GBC?

Grace Bible Chapel believes that each worship service must be reflective of these distinctive Biblical concepts:

- All worship activity must be to the honor of Christ - the first and

only consideration is what is pleasing and   honoring to Him.

- God is not to be sought first for personal benefit but first and

foremost because of who He is.

- Christ is only known and understood from His Word, and that

whoever reads or hears the Word with discernment is dependent

on the Holy Spirit for comprehension.

- Christ's person and name is reverently spoken whether in a

  message or in music.

- The focus of attention is on God's honor, will, and good pleasure

rather than on people's problems, desires, or ambitions.

- The truth of God is sought in the Scriptures whether or not it is

fashionable, politically correct, or disturbing to man.

- Each person without true faith in Christ is naturally sinful, helpless,

and useless to God. Therefore teaching will not seek to make

people merely feel good, or enhance their self

  esteem.

- Challenges, admonitions, commands, or instruction must be

presented from the Word of God with the recognition that all

human action requires first the power and work of God.

- Every person will continue in a lost condition unless God is pleased

to change the person from within, and make the person new. The

new life is demonstrated in a positive response to the truth, and

  faith in Christ.

- All blessings, answers to prayer, mercies, or kindness in all

circumstances come exclusively from God but without obligation by

God, and that whatever comes is completely an act of God's grace.

Understanding these truths leads to an appropriate honoring and fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom. As these truths are realized there is a joy and inner peace that surpasses all understanding. Grace Bible Chapel consists of sinful individuals who are saved by grace and are seeking to walk by faith in a manner pleasing to God. The real issue in anyone's relation to God is whether God will be first in life or whether self will be first. Anyone seeking to know the truth is encouraged to join us for worship. The people of God are a joyful people. Their joy is genuine, and their love and concern for others is sincere. Visitors from every walk of life are warmly welcomed.
