Who We are:
Grace Bible Chapel had its beginning in November
2000. Eleven families met for thanksgiving and fellowship, and out of
that joyous meeting a church was formed.
Why we wanted to begin a
church:
The Christian backgrounds of the founders are all
similar. We saw a need to have a church that focused on Christ, taught
the Bible systematically, and practiced traditional worship (as that was
believed to best honor God).
Our church distinctions:
Our desire is first and foremost to know and honor God. We have chosen as
our theme âThat I may know Himâ from
Philippians 3:10. We believe the knowledge of God is necessary for
salvation and becomes effectual for the new birth by the Holy Spirit; and
continues to be essential for the Christian walk. Music, Scripture
reading, prayer, and a diligent study of the Word of God characterize our
services. We use traditional hymns in our music not only because we love the
words, but also because we have confidence they are biblically sound. We
love one another and seek to help and encourage one another in our daily lives,
and in our walk with the Lord.
Our church
ministries:
Our ministry is dedicated to the truths of Scripture. The Scripture is
presented as the sufficient teacher to address the important issue of
relationship with God, and life issues without the opinions of an attachment to
a religious system, or the bias of pleasing the hearers.
